How to use the AI Pose Coach

What it does

The AI Pose Coach looks at your photo of a pose you are trying and writes short feedback on your body, framing and expression. It gives notes only. It does not edit your photo or create new images. AI feedback can be imperfect, so use your own judgement.

1. Choose the pose you are trying

Open any pose in Discover or Favorites and tap Coach me on this pose, which stays at the bottom of the screen. The coach compares your photo with that pose's description and steps, so pick the one you actually attempted. The banner on Discover, Try the AI Pose Coach, free, opens a featured pose if you just want to try it.

2. Add your photo

The AI Pose Coach screen shows your Target Pose at the top. Under Upload your attempt, tap Tap to upload your photo.

• In the mobile app, choose Take a Photo or Choose from Gallery.
• On the web, pick a photo from your device.

If the app can't reach your camera or photos, allow access in your phone's Settings and try again. To swap the picture, tap it (Tap to change).

3. Get your coaching

Tap Get AI coaching. The button changes to Analyzing your shot..., which the app says takes 3 to 10 seconds. If you see Photo upload failed, check your connection and try again.

4. Read the result

The Coaching result screen shows your photo and the notes:

• A first line starting Top fix: with the single most important change.
• Two or three short bullet points with other adjustments.
• One thing you are already doing well.

If the photo doesn't show a person, the coach says so and asks for one that does. Make the top fix, take the shot again and compare.

From here you can tap Share my result or Explore More Poses.

5. Find past sessions

The Coach tab lists your coaching sessions, with the pose name and the start of the feedback. If you haven't had one yet, it shows No coaching sessions yet.

How many sessions you get

• Free: one session. After that the app shows Free session used.
• Premium Plus: up to 30 sessions a day.
• Premium (the one-time purchase) unlocks camera settings. It does not include the Premium Plus coaching allowance.

Your photo's privacy

Your photo is sent to Google's Gemini API on our paid plan only to write your feedback, and neither we nor Google use it to train models. It is stored in your private account as coaching history until you delete it from Profile with Delete account. The details are in our Privacy Policy.
