How to use Pose Ready

1. Open Pose Ready

Get the app from the App Store or Google Play, or use it in your browser at poseready.com/app. New users get three intro screens (Find Your Perfect Pose, AI Pose Coach and Shoot Like a Pro). Tap Continue to go through them or Skip to move on.

2. Sign in, or browse as a guest

On the sign-in screen you can use your email and password, Continue with Google, or Continue with Apple where it is offered. New here? Tap Don't have an account? Create one free. To look around first, tap Browse as Guest. Guests are asked to Create a free account before buying a plan, so the purchase stays linked to them and can be restored on any device.

3. Find your way around

The app has four tabs: Discover, Favorites, Coach and Profile. They sit along the bottom on a phone and down the side on a wider screen.

4. Find a pose in Discover

• Type in Search poses... to search.
• Tap a category in the row under the search bar: Professional, Romantic, Creative, Casual or Sports.
• Open the filter button beside the categories to see Advanced Filters. Depending on the live catalog, it offers sections such as Number of People, Who's in the photo, Occasion, Setting, Props and Mood.
• Under Pose Access, choose Free camera settings to see only poses whose camera settings are free to view.
• Tap Show Results to apply your choices, or Clear All to start again. If the list is long, tap Load more at the bottom.

5. Read a pose

Tap a pose to open it. From top to bottom you get:

• About this pose: what it is and what it suits.
• Step-by-step direction: numbered body cues.
• Expression tip and Camera angle.
• Photography tips and Suggested props.
• Camera settings: ISO, aperture, shutter speed, focal length and lighting notes.

Camera settings are open on poses marked FREE SAMPLE. On the others you see Unlock with Premium. Shooting on a phone? Our iPhone and Android guides explain how to use those numbers.

6. Save and share

Tap the heart at the top of a pose to save it. Saved poses appear in the Favorites tab. The share button beside the heart shares a link to the pose's page in this library.

7. Get coached on your photo

Tap Coach me on this pose at the bottom of any pose. Your first session is free. The full steps are in How to use the AI Pose Coach.

8. Plans and your account

Browsing, filters, favorites and one AI coaching session are free. Premium is a one-time purchase that unlocks camera settings and lighting notes for every pose. Premium Plus is a subscription with up to 30 AI coaching sessions a day and your full coaching history. Plans are bought in the mobile app (Android purchases are coming soon), not on the web, and your account carries over. See pricing.

In Profile you will find Help and support, Restore purchases (in the iOS and Android apps), Privacy policy, Terms of service, Delete account and Log out.
